Notarial Fees:

The maximum fee a Notary Public can charge for a signature is governed by the New York Secretary of State.

Acknowledgments: $2.00 each plus $2.00 for each sworn witness

Jurats: $2.00 each

Oaths & Affirmations: $2.00 each

Proofs: $2.00 + $2.00 for each sworn witness

Protests: $0.75 plus  $0.10 cents for each notice

Additional Fees:

Please note that travel fees, convenience fees, rush and wait time fees, etc. are not specified in law and are separate from and in addition to the aforementioned notarial fees. Unlike visiting your local bank, a mobile notary travels to your location and is usually available at times (evenings, weekends, and holidays) when the local bank is closed.
